Underwater Vision Profiler (UVP)

Lab-O-Nord presents HydrOptics’ Underwater Vision Profiler (UVP5). This instrument, affiliated with Quebec-Ocean’s electronics laboratory, captures in situ image profiles of large particles and zooplankton to depths of 6000 m. Used with the rosette/CTD on oceanographic vessels, it also permits evaluation of the distribution and density of zooplankton and facilitates its classification.

Check it out in Lab-O-Nord
